Lara Croft fan film and Wondercon presentation-
Hey everyone! Quickee news: Next Wednesday is the deadline for me to fix the audio, touchup edit, temp rescore it (unless the Fox music clearance dept. answers my query SOON)--- so it's a mad rush.



In the meantime, was able to hit only the tail end of Wondercon (but not without splurging on a large framed fully autographed cast photo from "Angel"! Will post that sometime soon, so that I can be envied. ; p ) --- but attended a class given by the folks in charge of the "Tomb Raider: Tears of the Dragon" fan film, and found the folks there to be incredibly generous and great folks.

One of the suprises to me is just how far people will go with their films--- I think I go far for a non-professional level, but many go further, and I tip my hat to them! In one of the demos, the leading actress/producer, Valerie Perez, apparently has trained with the fire department and rigs her own explosives that she dives into for her film! How cool is that? I only have people eat onions as the most dangerous thing in my films! She shared how to make your own live explosions on set, and had handouts, but am still too chicken to put real explosions in any films....yet... hm....


Anyhow, great people. Great work. They're having a free showing in Los Angeles, if you happen to be in the area.
